Maya Abdominal Therapy™ combines ancient Maya wisdom with modern understanding of anatomy and physiology. Developed and shared by Dr. Rosita Arvigo, this approach has become a respected form of abdominal therapy worldwide.
Maya Abdominal Therapy ™ as shared by Dr Rosita Arvigo draws on ancient Maya wisdom combined with modern interpretation of anatomy and physiology.
Gentle bodywork for digestive health, hormonal transitions, and nervous system support.
These sessions weave abdominal massage, pelvic steaming, and intuitive bodywork to support women through fertility, postpartum, menopause, hysterectomy recovery, and other life thresholds.
This work restores circulation, softens fascia, supports digestive health and hormonal transitions, and invites the nervous system to soften and settle into deep rest — offering care for both body and spirit in times of transition.

“Womb steaming, for me, became a way to weep—without needing a reason. It helped me feel grief in motion, not stuck. It gave my pelvic bowl a voice again. That’s what I offer here—touch, steam, and space to remember who you are.”
Maya Abdominal Massage™ · Pelvic Steams · Ritual Bodywork · Trauma-Informed Touch
Lisa is an Arvigo Abdominal Therapy™ practitioner, womb wisdom guide, and sacred space holder for women navigating life’s deepest transitions.
With over two decades as a yoga student and teacher, she weaves together ancient feminine lineages with somatic therapeutics, energy medicine, and intuitive bodywork.
Her journey is personal.
After walking with endometriosis, endometrial cancer, and the initiatory grief of womb removal, Lisa carries a lived understanding of what it means to lose, remember, and reweave connection with the sacred feminine body. Her touch is reverent. Her sessions are a remembrance.
She brings training in:
Lisa also carries a parallel path in community development and engagement—bridging systems with soul. Her work honours the relational, the cyclical, and the seen-and-unseen transitions women walk through, often unacknowledged.
A devoted priestess of ritual, Lisa is now crafting new offerings that support women to be witnessed, celebrated, and restored as they cross thresholds like birth, grief, menopause, and spiritual rebirth.
She works only with those biologically born with a womb—past or present—and holds this space with full respect to the sacred intelligence of every belly she meets.
Appointments available on Mondays, Sundays, and selected evenings.

Sacred bodywork for womb remembrance, gut harmony, and emotional restoration.
This is not just somatic therapy.
This is a return to the body as altar.
A recalibration of rhythm, breath, and sacred inner knowing.
Rooted in Maya lineage wisdom and guided by the teachings of Dr. Rosita Arvigo, these sessions weave abdominal massage, pelvic steams, intuitive touch, and dimensional frequency to meet you at life’s thresholds.
These sessions reawaken coherence.
They restore flow through the gut–womb axis, support hormonal harmony, and invite the nervous system to finally exhale.
This is sacred bodywork for your belly, pelvic bowl, sacrum, and diaphragm.
Through soft, intuitive external massage, this work invites:
You may hear gurgles.
You may feel heat, breath, and spaciousness return.
You’ll be shown a simple, nourishing self-care massage to carry this remembrance home.
Note: Not offered during menstruation, from 4 days pre-bleed, with IUD, recent surgery, or first trimester.
Steam is ceremony.
A warm invitation to the tissues, the cycles, and the parts of you still hiding.
Using custom-blended herbs, womb steaming supports:
You’ll sit in stillness, over warmth, with the space held for what wants to rise or be released.
Note: Not offered during menstruation, pregnancy, acute infections, or post-ovulation if trying to conceive.
